IT'S TIME FOR ROOT DOWN TO KNOCK YOUR SOCKS OFF WITH A GREAT SUMMER DINNER.
THE INCREDIBLE PLACE AND IT'S FABULOUS FOOD--IT WILL BE A FOODIE DELIGHT AND GREAT FOR A SUMMER TREAT.
THE PRICE IS $50 INCLUSIVE OF SEVERAL COURSES, TAX,TIP, AND WINE.
SEATING IS LIMITED SO RESERVE EARLY.

L’Atelier was the treat of the best around as always, and we adored it. The food, wine, and service are totally awesome and perfect. We had divine bread, the hot pot of lobster and scallops, tuna tartar, foie gras with pear, lobster ravioli, and soft shell crab—and that was the beginning. Then we had rack of lamb, halibut, and tuna with black rice. Ending with cotton candy, sorbet, and chocolate, and Ari picked the wine-that is a must!!!! It was a perfect night.
We went to Strings for brunch for a birthday and it was great. The service is super-food really super-and fun for a party. We all either had omelets or the fireman’s egg in brioche with bacon and spinach. Everyone was delighted.

We went to Shells and Sauce for dinner-love that place. AND THE UPSTAIRS PATIO OPENS FOR THE SUMMER MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND. We had the great bread and then butternut squash soup. Entrees were salmon salad, linguini with clams, and chicken parmesan and everything was fabulous-so was the tiramisu for dessert. And they have a great bar, early bird specials---and so much fun.

We went to D-Bar Desserts for dinner-let’s start with—the place rocks, is mobbed, is YOUNG, but we older folks were very welcome too. And the crowds love it-the prices are great, wines and food and it is oh so good. Service rocks too. We had the sliced avocado salad and then the turkey bacon wrap, the bacon lettuce avocado and cheese Panini, and the steak frites-and wow-the fries are parm fries and divine. The dessert was the triple chocolate cake with chocolate malt---wine prices are amazing too. What fun-get on by.

We went to Bones for dinner-with the great people from Savory Spice-our favorite shop in town—and it was fabulous. We had super wines, and then the steak eggrolls and the pork steamed buns for appetizers. Then we had the chicken, the pork, and two of the lobster bowls—we loved it all and no dessert but super wine and great fun.

Tv WAS GREAT----we did faster food-gourmet in a rush-with great places-and I have eaten at all and love them!!!!
Garbanzo- Apple Spice Junction (don’t forget their amazing delivery), Back Country Provisions, Sketch doing brk and lunch pannini now, and Rise and Shine—all biscuits. And finally a taste of PinkBerry Yogurt-just opened on S. Colo and Mississippi and Kentucky ---oh so good-everything!!!!

THIS WEEK DO NOT FORGET TO WATCH---IT IS THE SO POPULAR CARTS!!!

Two different dinners.
I went to the dine around on Larimer Square—we started at Corridor 44 with shrimp and potato chips. Then we went to Osteria Marco for a great scallop with greens and fennel. Next stop for entrée was TAG—they did a great strip steak with oxtail. And then it ended at BistroVendome with cheesecake crepes. Wines were matched to each course.

Mark went to Bistro One and had a fabulous dinner. He had Cornish game hen and his guest had the pork belly. They were thrilled with dinner.

We went to Radex—the new Full Belly-it is now a French bistro with a very limited dinner menu. The place looks lovely. We had mussels and tuna tartar and a cheese platter for appetizers. Then we had chicken, barramundi, linguini al fredo, and tuna nicoise for entrees. The brownie for dessert was fun too.
