Here’s the Scoop from the Gabby Gourmet Restaurant Show on Saturday, July 30, 2011.
We were in the studio and my guests were the wine guys—Ben Weinberg and Rich Mauro. We had a guest visit from Mike and Starr Rothberg, owners of the new Wild Egg which will open next week. It is on Alameda and Grant. It is a national chain.
The question of the day: How many eggs have they sold at Wild Eggs since 2007 in Louisville where they have 3 stores. This is the first restaurant out of Kentucky-
Answer: two million.

Raclette is a fun, interactive dining experience that originated in Switzerland. For the all-inclusive price of just $40 per person, you and your friends will enjoy the Chinook's St. Moritz Raclette package. You will operate your own tabletop Raclette machine to grill your bite size meats and vegetables while melting the distinct Raclette cheese under the grill. After you cover your grilled morsels with the flavorful melted cheese, you will finish them with one of the delicious hand-made dipping sauces. Then we talked about rose and Riesling for summer.
And Gruner, Eroica Riesling from Washington state, Torrontes, and Albarino, and Vinho Verde. All are perfect for summer nights.
