 Here’s the Scoop from the Gabby Gourmet Restaurant Show on Saturday, July 2, 2011.

 My guests are Susan Klos- General Manager at Piatti and Clemens Georg of Chinook  and we are here at Piatti for the Cherry Creek Arts Festival.

Question of the day: How many panini does Piatti sell during Crerry Creeks arts festival?

Susan has lots of choices for all of those at the CC Art fest and want to have lighter fare and salads. Piatti has a new menu items and lots of focus on farm fresh ....in fact, chef is going to farmers market all the time.Chicken back on the menu and the patio is great!!!

Also parking available for diners over CC Arts Fest! Best tip of the weekend !
Come down and have a drink on the lovely patio and enjoy the shade!
Susan just went to Italy not long ago....mostly southern Italy....wonderful!!!!! Made us ask about the wonderful rose: Tasca L' amerita Regaleali Rosato is a wine we tried at Piatti....fantastic!!!

Clemens Georg - from Chinook Tavern dropped by. Chinook is now open out in DTC on Arapahoe and I – 25 or 6380 S fiddler green circle...right on Light rail station stop.
Menu is contemporary european cuisine....some favorites from CC and new items too. Lunch and dinner and brunch on weekends! Lots of space and gorgeous new space.... a new fun thing coming....a room dedicated to fondue - traditional raclette

Loves both Piatti and Chinook. Love Piatti’s calamari. Went to pre opening at Chinook and loved loved it!!! Schnitzel there is amazing!
Root Down is so wonderful...first time there and loved it.
