Here's the scoop from the Gabby Gourmet Restaurant Show on Saturday October 22th, 2011.

We were at Le Grand Bistro on 15th and Curtis. My guests were Robert Thompson, Sergio Romero, and Trisha Lindeman.

Raclette in the Zermatt Room

We had such a great time at our Raclette Dinner that we are doing a repeat-and a perfect time before Thanksgiving to treat yourself to a night out of divine fun—before that big dinner.
What a great treat this is. Raclette is a fun, interactive dining experience that originated in Switzerland. You and your friends operate your own tabletop Raclette machine to grill your chosen bite size meats and vegetables while melting the Raclette cheese under the grill. After you cover your grilled morsels with the flavorful melted cheese, you finish them with one of our delicious hand-made dipping sauces. The combinations are endless and you will have a great time creating your own culinary Raclette masterpieces. And great dessert too. The dinner is $40 a person including tax, tip and wine or beer.

We talked about the fabulous brunch served at le Grand Bistro and Oyster bar---the phone number is 303-534-1155. We had fabulous French toast, Benedict, over easy eggs, bacon, quiche, and so many great offerings. Dinner is great with super oysters-6 kinds, great apps including beef tartar, mussels, etc. and super entrees as well-chicken, crepes, steak frites, lamb shank and so much more—and dessert-foie gras crème brûlée. They do lunch and breakfast too.

COME TO OUR DINNER MONDAY NIGHT THERE-IT IS GONNA BE OUTRAGEOUS.

Punch Bowl, the diner and bowling alley is set to open on December 15. we will keep you posted.

We had tons of calls on Le Grand Bistro, and about the Punchbowl.

Callers wanted to know about Gumbo-it closed and The Kitchen from Boulder is going in.

We had great calls on the Gabby dinner at Hideaway Steakhouse. It was.

Jeff had a bad experience at Le Central but another caller said he goes there but wants something new and fun.

Sally wants chicken fried steak-like Texas—we were not sure about Texas but tons of calls
Rock Bottom, Steuben’s (Sunday brunch). Racines, Annie’s Café, Castle Café, Bull and Bush, Black Eyed Pea, and it will be on menu at Punch bowl when it opens/

A caller did not know that Le Grand is in the old Baur’s space it is.

Le Grand has great space for banquets, meetings and parties—holiday and not.

We will be at Palettes next Saturday-come on by and enjoy the scene.

Remember the dinner on Monday night and TV on Wednesday.
