 Here's the scoop from the Gabby Gourmet Restaurant Show on Saturday 
May 12, 2012.

 
We are at Trillium located at 2134 Larimer with Ryan Leinonen, chef/owner and Parker Ramey, Bar Genius. Phone: 303-379-9759.

Trillium is an American bistro with Scandinavian influences. What is a Trillium? A flower native to Sweden.

Happy hour at Trillium Tuesday to Saturday 5 to 7 and Sunday 5 to 9. Great food and drink specials!

Sold out for Mother's Day brunch, call if you want a reservation in case of cancellations. They do have openings for Mother's Day dinner. Ryan talked about the seasonal dinner menu. They change approximately monthly based on the season and whatever is new and fun. Likes to go to the farmers markets and get the freshest and most interesting ingredients.

Fireplace at Trillium is beautiful and will warm you on a cold day like today. Ryan told us more about brunch, served every Sunday.

Ryan brought us samples of the gazpacho and truffled tater tots....both divine.
The next thing we tried was gjetost. A goat cheese from Norway. Pronounced "hey toast"

  The questions of the day:
How many Trillium cocktails have they sold since they opened on December 6, 2011? 902
A Trillium cocktail is a blend of wild Maine blueberries, St. Germaine, creme di violet, aquavit and gin or vodka.

 Brandon from Steuben's called to talk about the new menu. Steuben's located at 17th and Pearl.

Michelle called to talk about her pizza at Wazee Wood Fired pizza. She also owns The Bagel Bakery in Thornton. Gabby loves her bagels.

Patrick called to talk about The Chinook Tavern. They are fabulous and very special.

Nancy called and talked about what a Trillium is.

Aria is offering mom a free brunch, 250 Josephine in Cherry Creek North.

Nancy was the winner with a guess of 900, the answer was 902.

There are a few spaces available for the Trillium dinner.
