5280 Restaurant Week 2012
First off let me say... Welcome to 2012! I hope it has been treating you all as well as you have anticipatepd. I apologize to anyone who reads my column as I was taking a vacation in New York City (for the first time ever if I may mention) at the end of December entering January). Now back to you're regularly scheduled program!
It’s that time of the year again! The time in which restaurants are receiving numerous reservations in which will keep seats occupied, chefs moving, drinks pouring and mouths eating. Yep, I’m talking about 5280 Restaurant Week! Restaurant week is the equivalent of another holiday which lasts for 13 days in my book. For the past 3 ½ years I have lived here in Denver, not once was I able to step away from work or school to celebrate and feast with the rest of the city.
Well that changes this year!
This year, I must commemorate the great chefs & restaurant teams I respect and look up to. Hopefully I can go out with some of my co-workers as majority of my college friends are pre-occupied with school, exams, tests, projects and working.
Now where to eat is the big question?
Without completely spoiling what restaurants I will be at and where. I think it’s okay to at least give you a location in which I plan on being in…
Downtown!

Since 12 is my lucky number and it is 2012, let’s try something and hope that it works out. If you partake in Restaurant Week this year, take photos… lots of photos! Photos of your friends, family, partner, and of course the food, celebrating at whatever restaurant(s) you decide to reside in for lunch and/or dinner. No photos will be re-distributed for any reason and I will not own any rights to your photos!
