Thanks to Dustin Main for sending this review.

Time-worn wood floors, faded brick walls and an undeniable Americana ambiance, welcome visitors to the oldest operating restaurant in Northern Colorado.
Nestled in the heart of vibrant Old Town Fort Collins, the Silver Grill is an old-style café serving plate-tipping breakfast and lunch creations with a friendly, affordable diner-style flair.
While there is plenty to rave about on their recently revamped menu, the trademark warm, gooey, award-winning GIANT cinnamon rolls routinely steal the show.
According to its website, the 25-year-old cinnamon roll recipe originated from a 1969 Better Homes and Gardens cookbook and was perfected with the help of a retired German hand baker.
So delicious and popular, the cinnamon rolls have launched a new family of treats -- cinnamon roll ice cream, cinnamon roll pancakes and even cinnamon roll French toast. Rumor around the Grill is a new cinnamon roll martini at a nearby watering hole may be in the mix.
Besides the iconic cinnamon rolls, other morning favorites include a massive breakfast burrito, Bubba’s pork chop and eggs, a tasty eggs benedict and even trout and eggs. Weekend visitors won’t want to miss the incredible Bloody Mary bar with special bacon-infused vodka.
Lunch includes traditional homemade favorites such as a hot pot roast sandwich, chicken fried steak and a grilled meatloaf dinner. Of course no lunch menu would be complete without a long list of juicy hamburgers and piping-hot soups.
A top-stop for any trip to Fort Collins, the Silver Grill Café offers timeless American-style cooking at affordable prices and a yester-year feel. They even sponsor an annual classic car show and serve free ice cream from a 1933 ice cream maker on Father’s Day. When it comes to Fort Collins feasting, the Silver Grill Café is definitely worth a visit.
