Phat Thai comes to Cherry Creek North with a big wow!!! The space is fabulous looking. The huge areas have been divided for an intimate feel. Enter into a super bar done with grey pine wood where one can enjoy drinks, a meal, snacks, and fun. There are several booths around it. Walking into the next space banquette seating and tables make for comfortable dining. While upstairs there is more seating for guests or private events as you look over the entire scene. Great lighting softens the high ceilings with huge chandeliers offering a sound barrier as well. With the great setting, the food is just as much fun and oh so good. Start with Singapore mussels, grilled shishitos, edamame, the best crisp spring rolls of duck, crab and mushrooms, spicy green papaya salad, calamari, chicken wings, and 5-spice pork ribs. Noodles, soups and rice include Tom Yum Gung, chicken coconut soup, drunken noodles with seafood, and Phat Thai. There is so much more as you decide on stir fries, curries, and large plates. Must haves include great beef short rib “XO”, an amazing green curry, fried chicken to die for, crisp whole tilapia, spicy duck, steamed crag, salmon, and pork belly. A touch of Americana comes with the decadent brownie a la mode, crème brûlée, and sticky rice with mango. The wine, drink, and beer list is perfectly matched to complement the food. Service is so excellent with the well educated staff explaining the dishes, and pampering all the guests. Phat Thai in Carbondale is a much loved spot and owners Mark and Larry Fisher have done it again. What a treat in Cherry Creek.
